The SWHPF series is a high pass filter, passing the forward 85-860 MHz spectrum with low loss. The 5-55 MHz return spectrum is blocked and properly terminated in a 75 ohm resistive termination, in conjunction with the low pass section of the filter.The device effectively blocks unwanted signal and noise from the drop cable return paths when inserted between subscriber drops and subscriber tap. The device is most applicable to be utilized in interactive, 2-way system designs where protection of the return path is required.
